Our Mission
ForensicShield exists because forensic professionals deserve structured, HIPAA-compliant preparation tools that match the rigor their courts demand.

I wanted the tool that doesn't exist.
After years working across inpatient forensic hospitals, jail-based competency restoration programs, private custody evaluations, and trainee supervision — I kept running into the same problem. The system that trains us to write rigorous reports doesn't give us any infrastructure to maintain that rigor after licensure.
Attorneys had AI tools to scrutinize expert reports, but forensic professionals had no equivalent tool to strengthen their own work before it reached opposing counsel. No case law research tools. No systematic methodology review. No way to know if the instrument you're using has been superseded or challenged. No feedback loop telling you whether your reports are getting stronger or developing blind spots.
I built ForensicShield because I wanted a systematic second opinion. Not one that tells me what to conclude — one that catches what I missed, provides the legal context I shouldn't have to spend hours finding, and gives me the confidence to defend my work under any scrutiny.
This is not a general-purpose AI writing tool adapted for forensic work. ForensicShield was designed from the start for the specific demands of forensic practice, by someone who does this work every day.
Who built this — and why it matters.

Dr. Aubree Harrington
Licensed forensic psychologist. Dr. Harrington has written the same reports ForensicShield reviews — competency evaluations, risk assessments, custody evaluations, and more. Her clinical judgment is embedded in every analytical framework, every severity calibration, and every scope decision in the platform. ForensicShield reflects how forensic psychologists actually practice, because it was designed by one.
Steven Harrington
U.S. Navy veteran with 32 years across defense electronics, classified infrastructure, and software engineering. Steve currently leads DoD programs delivering classified facilities, multi-enclave networks, and command-and-control platforms. He designed and built ForensicShield's entire technical stack — the HIPAA-compliant AWS infrastructure, the multi-pass AI analysis pipeline, and the encryption architecture protecting your data. The same engineering discipline that secures classified national security systems now protects your forensic work product.
Developed in partnership with forensic professionals
ForensicShield is shaped by ongoing feedback from practicing forensic professionals who provide input on defensibility review accuracy, preparation relevance, and clinical workflow integration.
Designed With Clinical Responsibility in Mind
ForensicShield is a preparation tool, not a decision support system. It does not write reports, generate diagnoses, or make clinical recommendations. It reviews the work you have already done and helps you identify areas that may benefit from additional attention before your report is finalized or your testimony is delivered.
All suggestions are framed as considerations, never directives. The forensic professional is always the expert. ForensicShield supports your professional judgment; it does not replace it.
Expert Authority
You are the expert. ForensicShield assists with preparation but never substitutes for professional judgment.
Privacy First
All data is encrypted, access-controlled, and processed within a HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. Your data is never used to train AI.
Scientific Integrity
Every legal reference is verified against authoritative sources. The AI never fabricates citations or makes clinical recommendations.
Every forensic expert deserves this confidence.
We want every forensic expert to feel confident that their reports are as clear, thorough, and defensible as possible before they ever reach the courtroom.
